Workshop on “Learn to Invest” was organised for I MBA students of SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru on 08th January, 2025. The objective of this workshop on investment to bring to light various investment opportunities available to students, in order to ensure long term financial security. Mr. Lohith N. Somayaji, Regional Head-Sales, HDFC Securities Ltd. was the resource person. He created awareness on various avenues for investments and said that investing early will leave you with a significantly larger retirement sum than if you choose to wait until you are in your thirty’s. “It’s a good idea to have the habit of saving and investing, even as a student, because it will help you to learn about taking calculated risks and staying at it can maximise your potential returns on investment” he said.
