Participation in RYLA 2026 -Leadership Camp

Ten students from SDM PG Centre, members of the Rotaract Club of SDM MBA, actively participated in the Rotaract Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2026, a two-day leadership development camp held on 10th and 11th January 2026 at the Mysore University Campus, Mysore. The programme was organized by the Rotaract Club of Panchsheel, Mysore.

RYLA 2026 was conducted with the inspiring theme “Lead On – Leadership Rooted in Service”, with the objective of developing young leaders who lead with integrity, empathy, and a strong sense of social responsibility. The programme witnessed participation from students and Rotaractors from various institutions and regions, providing a diverse and collaborative learning environment.

The camp included a series of well-structured sessions focusing on leadership enhancement, personal growth, communication skills . These sessions were delivered by experienced motivational speakers who shared practical knowledge, real-life leadership experiences, and interactive discussions, making the learning experience engaging and impactful. Students were also a part of zumba session .

One of the major highlights of RYLA 2026 was a hands-on CPR training session, which equipped participants with essential life-saving skills and emphasized the importance of responsible leadership in real-life situations. Another memorable session was the interaction with a Kargil War Hero, who shared inspiring experiences and valuable lessons on courage, discipline, commitment, and service to the nation. This session deeply motivated the participants and reinforced the true essence of leadership.

The programme also provided an excellent platform for networking and collaboration, enabling students to interact with Rotaractors, Rotaractorians, and participants from different clubs across the globe. These interactions encouraged the exchange of ideas, teamwork, and the building of long-lasting personal and professional relationships.
