The Young Indians (YI) orientation workshop was conducted on the 19th of October, 2024 at the SDM Conference Hall which focused on nurturing young leaders towards nurturing societal development. The event was organized by Mr. Dawn Prakash, assistant professor and YI Faculty Coordinator.   M. Athmika Amin shared insights on leadership and innovation from her experience as the Yi Mangaluru Chapter Chair. Gurudas Shetty discussed strategies for youth involvement in community service and development projects.  Anjali Rao highlighted the role of social entrepreneurship in addressing societal challenges through her work with the Ohana community.

The workshop was convened by Dr. Seema. S. Shenoy The Director of the Institute, who reiterated the need for the involvement of the younger demographic in the reformation of the country.
