One-day National conference on ‘Prioritizing Mental Health and Well Being’ was held here at SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, on August 8, 2024. Dr. Shanthram Shetty, Pro Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be university), inaugurated the conference. Nirathya Kamath, Data and Research Management Associate at Preqin, was the alumni guest. Sairam Natrajan, Co-founder- Mindei Coimbatore, was the key note speaker. Dr. Mohan Sunil Kumar, Director, Augmenta Health Bangalore, and Dr. Meghna Singhal, Therapist Mommy Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist PhD, NIMHANS, were the Resource persons for the technical session speakers for this conference. Followed by 2 technical sessions there was a Panel discussion and the panelists were Dr. Asha Jyothi Rai, Chairperson, Asare Charitable Trust, Dr. Aishwarya V H, Counsellor, Positive Mind Hospital, Shimoga, Gaana Bhat, Actress and Entrepreneur, EDI Vibrant. Divyashree Gatti from Glow Toch Technologies, was the Moderator. For  the the Valedictory Session, Dr. Prabha Adhikari, Professor, HOD Geriatric Medicine Yenepoya Medical College, Mangaluru, was the chief guest. Rachna Ashray Bhandary, Sales Operation Manager, Bhandary School Book Pvt Ltd., was the alumni guest. Director Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, faculty Co-Ordinator gave her presidential remarks, Ramya Shetty, Faculty coordinator, gave an insight about the conference. Student coordinators Tanya Thangamma B T, C K Nivya and Melrif Flanish Dsouza were present on the occasion.
