E.D  Workshop on the theme   “Innovate to Elevate: Sparking Entrepreneurial Spirit among MBA Students”

The workshop was inaugurated by Ms. Kavitha Shetty, Lead District Chief Manager of Canara Bank, Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka. Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Director of the SDM P.G Centre, expressed her enthusiasm for the workshop, emphasizing the need for MBA students to cultivate an innovative mindset that aligns with the dynamic business landscape. Faculty Coordinator Mr. Dawn Prakash, Assistant Professor, highlighted the workshop’s focus on practical learning, providing students with valuable tools and strategies for their entrepreneurial journeys.

The event featured an impressive lineup of panel members, including Mr. Nithin Vaz, Founder of Paperseed; Miss M. Athmika Amin, a dynamic Entrepreneur, Director of JV Group of Companies; and Mr. Gaurav Kamath, Founder of MicroDegree. They shared their personal experiences and insights into the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship, inspiring the attendees to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations. Additionally, the technical session led by Mr. Arjun John D’Souza, Co-founder and Managing Director of Alter Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mangalore, provided students with actionable strategies for effective marketing in today’s digital age.

The workshop also welcomed alumni guest Mr. K.C. Namith Raj, a successful Commodity Exporter from Kondadamane Traders, Kalasa, who shared his journey and the vital skills needed to thrive in the competitive business environment. Mr. Guruprasad K, Manager of DIC, Mangaluru was also present. The student coordinator Miss Srujani welcomed the gathering, while student coordinator Miss Rachana C.R. rendered the vote of thanks. Miss Nishel D’Souza was the Master of the Ceremony.
