Extension activity was organised at Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru on 11 th June, 2026. The objective of the visit was to create awareness among the students about the needs, abilities and challenges of children with development disabilities and to promote social responsibility and inclusiveness.
During the visit, the students interacted with the children through various fun-filled and educational activities. Games and creative activities were conducted to engage the children and encourage their participation. The children enthusiastically participated in the activities; prizes were distributed to the winners to encourage their active involvement. Eatables and refreshments were also provided to all children, making the occasion enjoyable and memorable for them. The students shared quality time with the children and contributed towards creating a joyful and inclusive environment. Students of II MBA actively participated in the extension activity. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shaila Kamath, Assistant Professor, SDM PG Centre, who guided students throughout the visit and encouraged them to contribute towards building an inclusive society.
