One-day national level inter- collegiate Management, Cultural and Sports fest ‘Shreshta 2026’, on the theme ‘Samrajya’, was held at SDM Postgraduate centre, Mangaluru on May 7. Chief guest, Kiran Shenoy, content creator, Try Tindi, inaugurated the programme. Alumni guest, Saiheel Rai, Actor, Anchor, Entrepreneur – Sai Productions event company was also present on the occasion. Six management events, 5 cultural events and kabbadi sports events were held.

At the valedictory ceremony, chief guest Latha Kurup, DGM and Regional Head, Canara Bank, Mangalore, and alumni guest Neha Padmanabha, Officer/ Associate Consultant – Hedge Fund accounting, Northern Trust, Bangalore, SDM PG centre Director Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Programme Coordinator Dr. Harshitha K., Student Coordinators Anmol Shet, Sushanth, Drupad M.P. and Gurukiran were present on the occasion.

SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, won the overall championship along with cash prize and AJ Institute of Management bagged the runners-up award in management competitions and also got cash prize.

Besides in Kabbadi event the overall Championship was won by SDM College, Ujire with cash prize of Rs.15,000 and Runners up was won by Yenepoya University, Mangalore, with cash prize of Rs.8,000.
