Selected students of SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru actively participated in “Igniting the Future – ISROs Legacy and Beyond” – A special talk and interactive session by Padmashri Dr.A S Kiran Kumar, Former Director of ISRO on 22nd June 2025 at Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangalore. 
The resource person addressed the gathering about ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation)and its range of satellites with diverse features serving communication, earth observation, navigation, meteorology and scientific research. “ISRO’s research focuses on cost-effective innovation, indigenous technology development and space exploration. Its work blends practical applications with scientific advancement, contributing to national development, disaster management and global space research initiatives” he said.
The students were very excited with the session and clarified their doubts. Swami Jitakamanandaji, the Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore presided over the function. There was SPACE ON WHEELS exhibition, which was a treat to the eyes.
Students were accompanied by Dr. Prameela S Shetty, Associate Professor and Dr. Ramya Shetty, Assistant Professor.
