Community Outreach Program was organized by the students of 1st year MBA on 22nd March 2025. The students visited various households and petty shops located within the vicinity of Mangalore south and gave them insights on waste segregation and also explained them on how to separate wet waste and dry waste. The students explained the consequences faced by the society if proper segregation is not done. By separation of wet waste, we can control pollution – the wet waste can also be composted. 18 students were divided into 3 groups and all the students in the group actively participated in spreading the awareness to various household and shops in the surroundings. Students were very excited of the fact that many people were very keen on understanding the consequences and adopting the method.
