March 1, 2025Institute organised a Two-days International E-Conference on *‘Embracing Generational Changes and Technological Transformation- A Roadmap to the Future’* on 21st & 22nd, February 2025. After inaugurating the conference, *Harikrishna Bhat, Director, International Collaborations, Nitte University,* spoke on the impact of AI in our lives. He shared his life experiences at Japan and shared several anecdotes on the use of AI in everyday experiences at Japan. *Alumni Guest, Varsha Ballal, Taxation Analyst, JP Morgan Chase, Poland, Europe* explained the influence of AI in day-to-day activities. In the keynote address, *Prof. Niranjan U.C., Former Director, Dot Net Technologies Limited, Manipal* explained in detail how Artificial Intelligence will be utilised in all facets of life in the future. The College Annual Magazine ‘Standard times’ was released by the guests on the occasion. Dr. Ramya Shetty, Assistant Professor, was felicitated on successful completion of her PhD. The Conference had 4 technical sessions by eminent personalities and experts in the field of AI from across the globe. *Technical Session I – Dr. Sudarshan Surendran, Associate Professor of Anatomy & Medical Imaging, American University of Antigua College of Medicine*, spoke on the topic ‘The AI Revolution in Medicine: Transforming Healthcare for Tomorrow’. *Technical Session II – Sudeep Muthyala, Program Delivery specialist, Telstra Technologies Pvt. Limited,* spoke on ‘Organisation Culture, Challenges in bridging the generations of employees’. *Technical Session III – Barath Narla, Founder & CEO, Prodigy growth Labs, Australia,* shared his knowledge on ‘The impact of Social Media on generations’. *Technical Session IV – Dr. Subhadra Prabhu, Development Psychologist, Credence High school, Dubai, spoke on ‘Teenage challenges’.* More than 100 delegates participated in the e-conference and benefited from the deliberations. 30 papers were presented by research scholars. At the valedictory function, *Prof. Vinit Takhor, Adjunct Professor, TAPMI,* was the chief guest. He spoke on the opportunities for the present generations due to technological disruptions. *Meghna Bhandary, Unit Manager, Human resource, Mphasis, Mangalore*, was the alumni chief guest. She explained how technology is posing new challenges in the workplace. Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Director, presided over the programme. Prashanth Kumar Assistant Professor/ Faculty Coordinator, Kowshik and Subrajith Saha, Student Coordinators, were present on the occasion.
